Sent this well used ECU off to make sure it wasn't a contributing factor in my engine damage. Turned up a clean bill of health. Here is taking it apart, you will see a soldered yellow wire, this was done at Protech Performance and saved me some $800 to rebuild this unit. AEM claimed even though it tested fine they would recommend the whole board being replaced. Not happening haha.

First one is the stock engine with Inline Pro turbo kit. Stoopid tuned (bastard isn't tuning anymore).

This one is with Inline Pro built engine and Inline Pro turbo kit. Engine failure was not due to Inline Pro. Ignore the A/F in this map, he was using AEM log and my wideband (LC1)

Hard to tell maybe, but this car had a dent in every panel. 2001 Honda S2000 with Inline Pro turbo kit.

I took the car down for 5 months on some bodywork. Shine widebody front bumper, full front fenders, rear overfenders, and Cwest full rear bumper. All body work by my long trusted paint guy Johnny over at Top Gun down here in Corpus Christi.

Yup your looking at my first blown engine, went out at 160mph doing a pull, unsure RPM but you can bet it was over 8,000rpm. Time for a fully build Inline Pro 9:1 engine and shave some of the engine bay.

Grinding and welding over 70+ holes is a pain in the ass let me tell you. Remember when welding with a Mig on thin bodywork make sure to use a appropriate sized wire, too thick creates too much heat and then you burn through nearly everything.

Sanding gets old make sure and use Norton 3x strength 100 grid sand paper and a broken piece of cheese grater, this makes work of Bondo. I was also told instead of Bondo you should use Metal Glaze, I have not tested this.

Really nice to have your paint guy come out to your house and work. Only took a couple of hours and engine bay never looked better.

Most wires and fuse boxes are now in the fenders. More tucking will be done later on, still have yet to decide whether to keep the AC or not.

Finally lowered the S2000, looking good need better offset wheels though.

Put down 429hp and 295trq for a whole 2 days then BOOM, built engine looses a piston. Unknown reason, but looks to me too much timing.

That takes us to now. Engine is going to Inline Pro for a rebuilt, which I want to say they go to great lengths to ensure every customer is happy even if the problem wasn't theirs.
